PhotoFilmStrip is a slideshow movie creator for Windows. It allows you to load your images into the application and create a slideshow movie out of them. This task is usually done with applications that are so much complete and that are used for other tasks, thus adjusting their features to the slideshows creator. PhotoFilmStrip was MADE just to create slideshows.
It has different transition effects. Although the options are still limited, it allows you to add any picture, add an effect to individual images, and rotate them. The delay between pictures can also be changed, and subtitles can be added to the slideshow. The slideshow can be then exported to VCD/SVCD or a video file within your computer (even high-definition resolutions are supported). I have to admit that I struggled to find the option to render the movie (export). Other applications have an export button or you can go to file - export. Here, you have to click a "check" icon on a toolbar. There is no preview of the slideshow before you render it, which is a big disadvantage, but the developer is working on it. I gave this app a try with 3 regular-size pictures and it took like 5 minutes to create a 20-seconds clip.
